Hi and hello there! I sure appreciate your interest in hosting your event at The Facilities at Hickory Lakes. I am Sharon Buccilla and on behalf of my family a big thanks for considering us to be host of your coming gathering. As you'll see, Hickory Lakes is a beautiful 88 acre oasis of mixed hardwood forest, six lakes and large open meadows presenting an unmatched natural setting for your event in the heart of the ever growing City of Pickerington and Violet Township. Whether it be your wedding, a family reunion, corporate picnic, team building, business meeting or class reunion, our five facilities have much to offer from formal to casual. Oswego: meeting place by water and wood

We do offer Oswego: meeting place by water and wood. Seating 350-400 guests, Oswego sits at the edge of our forty acre mixed hardwood forest. You'll enjoy not only the comfortable interior with high 22' ceilings, 17' wide stone fireplace and easy step 18'x 33' dancefloor, but also the covered patio with an addtional stone fireplace , outdoor cafe seating and views of the lake and trees. It is truly an unmatched natural setting.

Additional event.......................... 275/ hour prearranged
Additional non event ................... 175/ hour

This rental includes setup of tables, our house seating and two hours of setup/decor immediately before the event. We do ask that you choose a session:

Day at/after 10am, end no later than 4pm
Evening session begin at/after 6:30pm, end no later than 11:30pm
Don't want to be restricted to Day or Evening Session times? Ask about our 'Bridge"Rental Option available for 2500/five hours. You choose your five hours between 10am-11:30pm

Food Service would be provided by one of our fine Preferred Caterers. Caterers provide not only the food service and food service staff, but also the linens and skirting for your event space. Please see Preferred Caterers List posting for details.

Beverage Service, both non & alcoholic, is handled by the Facilities at Hickory Lakes and may be offered complimentary, cash or combination to your guests. Please request updated price list.

The Lakeview Clubhouse

The Lakeview Clubhouse is our original dwelling offering event space for up to 125 guests banquet style and 200+ for events that take advantage of both the in and out of doors. The Lakeview Clubhouse is a two leveled building with all of the guests seating on the main floor with 14' x 28' dancefloor while food and beverage are traditionally served on the second lower level. Both levels have stone fireplaces and the upper level features the original kotty pine wood keeping within the natural lakeside setting.

Additional event ........................... 250/ hour
Additional non event..................... 125/ hour

Preferred Caterers List

It is our pleasure to offer this list of caterers to provide the food service and staff for your gathering. Please feel free to request information from any of these fine caterers. This list is provided for your convenience. However do understand, each caterer does wish to maintain its own high standard of presentation, taste, style and overall business brand. These as well as other factors influence pricing potential. We are sure you will find each one of these folks wonderfully accommodating.

Not unlike other rental facilities, each caterer is required to pay a usage fee. Not limited to, this fee covers the use of prep space and water applicable to rented facility. The fee is 15% of all food and non alcoholic beverage ordered for your event.

Should we grant a rare excpetion to this preferred caterer's list, a usage fee of no less than 30%, minimum $850.00 will be required in addition to a separate refundable deposit of $500.00 all of which to be received thirty days prior to event. This vendor must still perform all regular duties and provide all the same coverage documents like our preferred list of caterers. The Facilities at Hickory Lakes reserves the right to refuse or cancel this option at anytime without warning.

Please be sure to add 6.50% sales tax & 18% service to all beverage & related fees. All Non & Alcoholic Beverages are provided by The Facilities of Hickory Lakes. All alcohol service must end 30 minutes prior to the scheduled end of event. The Facilities at Hickory Lakes reserves the right to cease alcohol service to an individual guest or all guests should a warranted situation arise without consultation or warning. No guest will be served in the absence of a valid form of identification stating years of age to be at or over 21. No shots are offered in any instance. The bringing in of alcohol from off premise is strictly prohibited and if this occurs in any way, additional fees will be charged starting at 250.00. All costs do include ice,mixers and disposable cupware. Bar Glassware is available at 1.75 per guest.

Beer, Wine & Cocktails may be offered in a variety of ways. Should you like for a portion of your service to be offered at your guests costs, a cash bar option fee is offered below. Even so, should you wish to limit your Complimentary Service to your guests in any way (i.e. by time, by dollar amount, unit amount, closed at dinner) you may do so in a variety of ways whether it turns to cash, disappears or resumes at scheduled time.

Wedding Ceremony

Hickory Lakes offers many opportunities for your special ceremony out of doors. If you'd like we can provide the ceremony chairs and the setup. We ask 350.00 for the first 100 chairs and 1.65/chair thereafter. You may provide the chairs and setup yourself if you'd like. For rental chairs you must arrange delivery for the event date only. We do not allow rentals to be delivered prior to scheduled date. Also, keep in mind that your Ceremony time is inlcuded as event time. Therefore, we ask that your event time begin 30 minutes prior to the start of your ceremony. For example: Evening Four Hour Wedding & Reception...rental starts at 6:30...Ceremony 7:00pm...Reception to follow until 10:30. Once again, you do have the immediate two hours before your event for setup/decor which could include pre ceremony photos taken before guest arrival.

Outdoor Shelter Houses

For an outdoor excursion, try one of our Outdoor Shelter Houses. Our shelters are traditional park style shelters with concrete floors, roof over head and open sides. Each shelter is located next to one of six lakes and does offer a private area for volleyball, horseshoes as well as a swingset and sandbox. Ask about all of our wonderfully fun activities to enhance your picnic(paddle boats, fishing, hay rides, inflatables, face painting and more).

SH 2 .......................................395/four hours with a capacity under cover of 75
SH 3 .......................................475/four hours with a capacity under cover of 150

We do ask that your day event end no later than 5:00pm. We offer evening bookings in the Fall (late September/October) ending no later than 10:00pm. Unless an exception has been granted , you must still select from one of our listed caterers for your food service. Please see Preferred Caterers List posting. All beverage whether alcoholic or non alcoholic must be provided by the Facilities at Hickory Lakes.
